Please rsvp if you're joining us at the Turk’s on Friday night and/or BT's on Saturday, because we really have no clue how many people are coming.
Friday September 30th
6 - 9ish pm: Welcome party at Mick and Cookie Turk's!
1206 2nd Ave, Radford
-NOT the house with the barn, up the steep gravel road to the right
Saturday October 1st
12 pm: RU vs. ODU on Fallen Brothers' Field by the New River; Lot Z
3:30 pm: Alumni vs. RU 7's match on Moffett Quad during
6-9 pm: BT's upstairs is reserved for us and a buffet will be provided
Sunday, October 2nd
Nothing planned for this year, but we want to plan an event for next year so let us know your ideas. Float the New River in Radford? Rent boats or jet skis at Claytor Lake in cold mountain lake water? Drag races at Motor Mile Speedway? Golf tournament at Loch Lowmans? Disc Golf tournament? Shooting at Jefferson National Forest? Hike Dragon's Tooth in Roanoke or around Claytor Lake? RU campus tour? Hangover feast at Sonic?
We're considering hosting our alumni weekend party at Claytor Lake next year, Oct. 2023, celebrating 35 years as a club along with our 20 and 15 year championship team reunions. Let us know your thoughts.
